Blood in the water

The infamous “blood in the water” match occurs during the Melbourne Olympics in the men’s water polo semi-final match, where the match is called shortly before the final whistle with Hungary leading 4-0 after Hungarian player Ervin Zádor is sucker-punched and leaves the pool with blood pouring down his face.
